Discover Toulousein 2 days
On the programme of this urban escapade that is all about the good life: a maze of streets, brick façades, listed monuments, lounging at cafés and enjoying wild nights out.
Day 1
10 am
The visit begins in the historic heart of the town: the Capitole, Saint-Sernin Basilica and the Jacobins Convent are all yours!
Midday
Bells ring nearby, Victor-Hugo Market is in full swing. There are restaurants on the first floor and bistros all around the square that showcase the very best of the local produce on sale at the stalls.
2 pm
Stroll through the charming Saint-Étienne quarter, around the cathedral and the mansion houses, as well as the cafés, second-hand stores and antiques shops.
3 pm
Behind the tall façade of the Hôtel d’Assézat there hides a splendid courtyard dating from the Renaissance.
4 pm
Head to the left bank over Pont Neuf: the Château d’eau and Les Abattoirs all exhibit modern and contemporary art.
7:30 pm
Settle in a restaurant on Place Saint-Georges. On the menu: tapas, cassoulet and a raft of gourmet dishes.
10 pm
Rendezvous at the music bars next to Allées Jean-Jaurès and Rue Gabriel-Péri to put the festive reputation of the Ville Rose to the test!

Day 2
9 am
Starting the day without a Chocolatine pastry served with a perfect Southern accent is out of the question.
10 am
Do you prefer air or space? In any case, your day promises to be busy.
Option 1: discover aeronautics at the Airbus production site and then at Aeroscopia.
Option 2: interactive exhibitions, entertainments and experiences at the Cité de l’espace.
7 pm
Back to the city centre: it’s aperitif time! The Place Saint-Pierre is always a lively spot, ideal for enjoying a tipple and watching the sunset, or taking in a rugby match (with all the ambiance of its famous “third half”!).
