Foodie destination

Toulouse is a gourmet and convivial city. We love to stroll through the markets, linger on the terrace and settle in at table. Whether at a Toulouse wine cellar, a local café, one of the ten Michelin star eateries or in a pub, the city can be explored on a plate. Make sure to taste cassoulet, Toulouse sausage, foie gras and other typical products of Southwestern France. You’ll also enjoy accompanying these foods with the best of the region’s wines (Gaillac, Fronton, Madiran, Cahors, etc.) and finishing every meal with an Armagnac, the elixir of D’Artagnan.

Rugby destination

For the glory of sport and for the pleasures of conviviality, to share a single passion and make the most of the charms of the South, Toulouse is a southern city whose terraces bloom at the first rays of sunlight, where both young and not-so-young venture out as soon as night falls! If visitors can tear themselves away from the local restaurants, food markets and bars, the city has plenty of sporting accolades to explore. The city's Rugby League team, Toulouse Olympique XIII proudly made it through to the european Super League this year when their fellow brothers from the Stade Toulousain are nothing but the most successful club with 21 French Rugby Union Championship trophies and 5 European Championship. A visit to Stade Ernest-Wallon, where the magic happens, is sure to keep every sport fanatic content and is an accessible place to watch UK and Ireland teams during a short break!
