Toulouse isthe Queen of Vintage

If you love lace, shoulder pads, fluorescent colours or even high-waisted flared trousers, head for the second hand stores of Toulouse for some vintage shopping.

Retro Style

Vintage is back in fashion; whether retro, pop, chic or bohemian, it is always up to date. To refine your look, you need some patience and a little know-how...but above all you need to know where to go!

Lovers of vintage come from all over France to hunt out the most beautiful items in the second hand stores of Place de la Bourse, rue Cujas, rue Sainte-Ursule and rue Peyrolières. Here is a list of the boutiques that should not be overlooked.

Flea market and antiques

Lovers of old or rare objects should stroll around the narrow streets bursting with charm in the Saint-Étienne Cathedral quarter where a great many antiques shops are located.

You can also look for furniture and other bargains at the monthly flea market in the allées François-Verdier. This market takes place on the first weekend of every month – please note that Friday is considered part of the weekend here!
