Best Wine bar in the World 2018
Whether you are an enthusiastic amateur or a dedicated wine buff, rendezvous at the N°5 Wine Bar for a soiree that is wonderfully intimate and free of chichi.
Thomas Cabrol is a true enthusiast who never stops sharing his love of wine with his clientele, serving nearly 4,000 references on his wine list, but also with his restaurateur friends who he regularly invites to his establishment to suggest wine and food pairings.
His experience and constant quest to find great wines have earned global recognition from the specialist magazine The World of Fine Wine, who named the N°5 Wine Bar the best wine bar in the world for two consecutive years (2017 and 2018).
Here the wine list reads like a history book. Take the Madère 1675: it is the oldest wine in the world! Rescued from the shipwreck of a Dutch vessel that sunk in 1735, this treasure can be enjoyed for around €7,000 a glass or €100,000 for the bottle.
From the Enomatics dispenser you can also enjoy tastings of around forty different wines. These self-service machines use a revolutionary system of pouring and preserving wine that makes Millesimes and other Grand Cru reds and whites accessible to all. Will you go for a Château d’Yquem, a Pommard Vieilles Vignes or even a Côte-Rôtie?
